Arrest Made for Attempted Murder, Domestic Battery by Strangulation, and False Imprisonment

The Gulfport Police Department arrested Jason Rozenburgh and charged him with attempted murder, domestic battery by strangulation, and false imprisonment.  On 11/26/13, at approximately 7:05 pm, officers were dispatched to 3101 Beach Blvd, apartment #3 reference a possible domestic battery in progress.  During the course of the investigation, officers learned that Jason Rozenburgh got into an argument with his live in girlfriend/victim, Megan Murray, which escalated to a physical confrontation where Rozenburgh attempted to stab Murray several times.  He also choked her with his hands on several occasions and would not allow her to leave the house.  While committing these crimes, he told Murray that he was going to kill her.  Although Murray prevented Rozenburgh from actually stabbing her, she did sustain lacerations to her hands and fingers requiring the need for medical attention.
