They were advised that 3 shots were fired and a description of the suspect was provided. They later learned that 3 homes were burglarized in the same area. Officers responded and discovered that the suspect was gone; however, one of the victim’s (homeowner) was able to provide additional detailed information as well as surveillance video from the home because he chased the suspect down.
The suspect can be seen on the video approaching the front door of one of the homes and knocking. The suspect was wearing black shorts, black and white Puma shoes, black polo with a grey long sleeve shirt underneath, black hat, black sun glasses, wearing a necklace and a black watch. Meanwhile, the home was occupied by an 11 year old female who quickly contacted her father who worked only a few miles away. He gave chase in his vehicle and observed the suspect running across the golf course in which he drove onto the golf course, got out of the vehicle and observed the suspect turn and point a firearm in his direction. He fired several shots at the suspect who, in turn, ran from the golf course. It is not believed at this time that the suspect was hit.
