12/23/2008  ELDERLY RESIDENT MISSING

GULFPORT, FL – Police are looking for a missing, elderly man who has not been seen since he left home Monday afternoon.  Kostan Seweryn (90) went out for a bottle of wine at 5:00 pm, and he has not been seen or heard from since then.

Seweryn's wife and neighbor said this has happened a few times before and he either returned home after many hours or the police found him driving without lights, confused and unaware of where he was or what day it was.

When he left, Seweryn may have been wearing blue jeans and a brown long sleeve shirt.  He is 5'8", 155 lbs., and he has silver hair.  He was driving his Silver, 2000, Dodge Neon, bearing Florida tag 738KYU.  Seweryn's home is in the 5200 block of 31st Avenue South, in Gulfport.

Please call Gulfport Police at 893-1030 with any information.
