Welcome to the Gulfport Police Department. Our building at 2401 53rd St South in Gulfport is home to the Police Department and City Hall. Inside, you will find a lobby for the police department, where you can speak with our records clerk. Here, you can ask for assistance from a police officer or request a copy of a police report.
Dispatch answers non-emergency calls, and 911 calls for the city of Gulfport.
Beyond the lobby, you will find the Chief's Secretary and the Chief's office. There are several interview rooms, dispatch (while 911 calls first go to county, we have our own dispatchers who answer 911 calls transferred to our department, as well as non-emergency calls), and the Investigative Services Division (detectives).
There are also offices for the Lietuenants and Sergeants, and a report-writing area which looks into the holding cells. There is a report writing room, which is where read-off is held. Read-off is an informative meeting for officers before each shift to brief them on what has been going on in the city in the previous shifts. There are also locker rooms and bathrooms for the employees.
Read-off, Sgt Terry Taylor and Ofc Mills and Ofc Kellington.
Gulfport Police Dept also has an office in the Neighborhood Center on 49th St. This is the office of the Youth Resource Detective.
