Subject:  Gulfport Family in Need After House Fire

Narrative

Gulfport, FL-- Tuesday evening there was a major fire at a home on Tangerine Avenue. The owners of the home lost everything including their car and sadly their pet dog too. The home was uninsured, and the family (a mother and teenage boy and girl) is having to rebuild from almost nothing.

The Gulfport Neighbors, the Gulfport Police Department, the Gulfport Historical Society and the Gulfport Fire Department will be coordinating relief efforts for the family.

If you wish to make a monetary donation you may make a check payable to Gulfport Neighbors, a 501c3 tax deductible non-profit organization. You may also donate via credit card at the link below.

Alternatively, you can help by collecting or donating new, unused items on the list below.
  •  Non-perishable food items
  •  Personal hygiene items, including toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, washcloths, towels, soap, and shampoo
The Gulfport Historical Society will also be open to receive donations Sat. 1:00pm - 4:00pm and Tues. 10am - 2pm. As well, the Gulfport Police Department can accept checks and supplies between 8:00am and 4:30pm, Monday - Friday.
